A 19th century inlaid slant lid bracket base desk with 3 drawers. The top, lid and drawer fronts have border inlay and the lid has an inlay in the center of a conch sea shell typical of the Federal period.
There are no marks identifying the maker. The top, lid and drawer fronts are cherry with pine used on the sides and back and oak used for the drawer sides and bottoms. The hardware is brass and all original.
