19th C. English Transferware Plate, "China" Pattern, Palm Tree & Pagoda Scene

This is an antique English earthenware plate with a dark blue and white transfer-printed design. The pattern, often referred to as a Chinoiserie or "China" scene, features an exotic landscape with towering pagodas, a bridge, and prominent palm trees. The rim has a decorative, scalloped edge. It likely dates to the 19th century (Mid-Victorian era).

​Plate Condition:

The plate has visible crazing and a chip/break to the rim (especially evident near the top on the front view). There are also hairline cracks on the reverse. The transfer print remains clear and vibrant. This piece shows clear signs of its age and history.
