Royal Crown Derby is the jewel of British ceramics — the only English manufacturer permitted to carry both the word "Royal" and the crown in its name, and holder of the Royal Warrant since 1890. Its Imari pattern, inspired by the bold Japanese export ware shipped through the port of Imari from the 17th century onwards, became one of the most iconic decorative schemes in English fine china: deep cobalt blue, vivid iron red, and lavish 22-carat gilding, applied with a precision that sets Derby apart from every imitator.

At 23cm in diameter, this plate is an ideal size for wall display or presented on a plate stand. The Imari palette is timeless — as at home in a traditional Georgian interior as in a contemporary collector's apartment.
