The half-fluted decoration with beaded border is a hallmark of late Victorian silverplate, c.1870–1900, in the Queen Anne Revival style.

• Baluster/pear-shaped body — elegant upper curve tapering to a waisted neck
• Half-fluted lower body with a beaded border separating the fluting from the plain upper section
• Domed hinged lid with an ebonised urn finial
• Black ebonised angular handle with silver collar mounts
• Short curved spout with a lip at the rim
• Stepped circular pedestal foot
• Bright, well-polished finish with minimal wear — good condition
