Excellent condition throughout. John Millward Banks was in business between 1863 to 1926. He specialised in small; detailed and delicate pieces with a high degree of precision and finish. Set is immaculate. Gold Gilt wash provides a great warmth. It is a joy to see this set, in this condition, after 131 years. The silver I can understand, but the Satin lining is something else entirely.
