A lovely scallop rimmed Imari plate- Handpainted and Hand throw

A lovely scallop rimmed Imari plate characterized by its colourful elaborate style & through its three dominant colours of dark red, blue & white with gold gilding.

Intricately hand painted the top is a repeat motif of panels, depiction of peaches and Bonsai
There are not any markings on the base. A wonderful example of Imari porcelain & just a joy to look at, circa mid to late-19th century.

There is some old restoration where there's a chip on the rim, please see photos 9 & 10.
