A fine antique blue and white transferware soup plate featuring the charming "Bosphorus" pattern, produced by J. Marshall & Co. of Bo'ness Pottery, Scotland, circa 1880. The design depicts an orientalist riverside scene with architectural details, figures, and lush foliage, all rendered in rich cobalt blue against a crisp white ground.

The plate is in good antique condition consistent with age and use, displaying a beautiful glaze and clear transfer print. An excellent example of Victorian-era Scottish transferware.
