Victorian Tea pot by Samuel Johnson of Burslem imari style handpainted tea pot with crazing

Victorian teapot  manufactured by Samuel Johnson of Burslam, in the potteries. The back stamp shows that the teapot was manufactured between 1887 and 1915. This is a very striking pattern of navy blue and amber red on a cream background, embellished with gold - very typical of the Victorian period.
