Mahogany nested table

This is a beautiful set of Mahogany Nesting Tables (or "nest of tables"), a classic, space-saving furniture design that became highly popular during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods (c. 1890s–1930s) and in later traditional revivals. It is constructed from rich mahogany, prized for its color and grain, and features elegant flared or sabre-style legs that allow the tables to stack neatly. The most distinguishing feature is the finely carved "rope-twist" or gadrooned edge around the tabletop, which marks it as a piece of traditional, high-quality accent furniture.
