Absolutely beautiful hand painted, glossy glazed purple and blue design.

Designed by Nils Thorsson and Marianne Johnson for Alumina - Royal Copenhagen's specialist faience works which produced items under its own name until 1969.

Part of Royal Copenhagen's popular Tenera Range, featuring hand-painted designs by Scandinavian women.

The Tenera range was designed by Nils Thorsson from 1958 in colloboration with a group of female artists and designers.

It is fully back stamped with its manufacturer name, model number, designer's stamp, and painter's initials.

The back stamp shows it was made in Denmark by Alumina in 1968.

Approximately 12cm high.

In excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age.
