Murano Glass Millefiori Twin-Handled Vase — Vintage Italian Art Glass, c.1960s–70s

A vibrant and characterful hand-blown Murano glass vase worked entirely in the millefiori (thousand flowers) technique — a centuries-old Venetian tradition in which bundles of multicoloured glass canes are fused and sliced to create a densely patterned mosaic surface. This globular, squat-bodied vase is covered from base to flared rim in a kaleidoscopic array of polychrome cane sections: cobalt, red, green, yellow, white, and black, set against a clear ground.

Two applied cobalt loop handles flank the neck, terminating at the lobed shoulder, while the everted ruffled rim adds a further decorative flourish typical of mid-century Murano production. A striking display piece with strong visual presence.
